Acorns To Oaks Dinner: Transforming Generations Through Christ

We have so many blessings to celebrate this year. More women are leaving Texas prisons and transitioning back into society through the Oaks program than ever. We added a fourth house. It’s been more than seven years since any of our graduates was reincarcerated.

The proudest accomplishment for many of our residents is when they can restore often shattered relationships with their family members, especially children. This year’s dinner celebrates the radical transformation of family restoration and the impact it has on future generations. In keeping with our theme, we are asking our sponsors to help fund seats for our residents, graduates, and most importantly, their families.

Our keynote speaker will be Houston City Council Member Twila Carter. We'll also have moving stories of reconciliation between residents and their families, and we will pay tribute to the employers who provide our residents with jobs.
