Oaks of Righteousness is blessed to have 15-20 volunteers each week who serve the ministry by praying for the residents, mentoring, teaching Bible studies, or leading Christian small group recovery studies. The residents enjoy Wednesdays with their Personal Trainer and Wellness Coach. On Fridays, the residents transform and create donated wood furniture through a process called chalk painting; this furniture is then auctioned and sold at our Fall Fundraiser in November.

Volunteers from an area church come seasonally to beautify our grounds with vegetable plants, flowers and mulch. A compost pile was built in 2014 and will be spread in the garden in 2015. Clean-up and trimming is always needed and appreciated.

Fridays are fun nights for the residents. Some nights, a movie and popcorn are enjoyed or jewelry making is led by a local church group. Bunko and game nights are fun with prizes and tasty snacks! If your small group has a service or an event to offer our residents, please contact us.

Volunteers are always needed for transportation; parole visits, job readiness programs, and job searches; Celebrate Recovery meetings; and special outings.
